So your changing the name eh well its your decision since this is your website and if thats a decision that needs to be done then I say do it but then again dosgamer.com does sound better than dosgamezone.com even that sounds okay in my opinion I would like to see dosgamer.com. |

dosgamezone will still work, it'll just re-direct to dosgamer.com the change won't be for a few weeks (a bit of coding to do).
The whole site will still be completly the same except with slightly different logo's. I'm also gonna transfer ownership to my company (a legal protection thing) but it's still the same site!
Ever since i lost dosgamer i'v wanted nothing more to get it back, now i have. It was dosgamer.co.uk initially but i hate .co.uk domains.

Another question I have would there be any changes to the menus such as quality or text style or would they remain the same. One last thing would there be a color change to the main page such as green, yellow, or black. |

Initially i'm just going to 'rename' dosgamezone to dosgamer.
The original version of dosgamer had a feature called 'swatch' that let you pick a colour scheme from a list of about 20. The current design doesn't allow this .
Also i'm going to completly overhaul the design towards the end of summer.
I've shelved all sorts of crazy stuff over the years, e-cards, webmail, chat room, 'users on this page', mailing list, and more stuff that i've prob forgotten about. I even gave away hosting at one point.
But 99% of people who visit just want games!

OK I was being harsh when I said shut down forever.
Basicially we used to be dosgamer, it's only because I lost the name that the name dos game zone came about. Now i've got the domain name back I wan't to revert back to the name dosgamer.
dosgamezone.com (the url) will still 'work' even if it only redirects to dosgamer.com.
The only think that's changing is the name!
All usernames, passwords, pms, games, profile pages, forum posts, EVERYTHING will be the same. I can never delete stuff!
Technically the website (for a while) will have both dosgamer.com and dosgamezone.com web addresses but officially the site will be called dosgamer.
The only changes (for now) will be the logo in the top left and all page titles will be changed from dos game zone will to dosgamer.
Rest assured dosgamer is here to stay. |
