i think some games on this website should be removed. not adult games, but thoses should be removed, but these games should be removed because of copyright infringment. here's a list of a few
doom 2
heretic
hexen only hexen not deathkings
commander keen goodbye galaxy
duke nukem atomic edition
spear of destiny
rise of the triad
theses games should be removed because of copyright infringment and the fact that id software can still make money from selling these games and non of the are abandonware

I think some users should be removed!
user impcnrd should be removed due to various breaches of the "dont be annoying" terms and conditions.
line 36 clearly states and I quote
" A user must not discuss copyrights on public forums, however the user is free to discuss this topic in private messages to other users or members of the dosgamer staff "
this is a clear case of rule breaking. let us rid ourselves of this heethen |

I still buy the new games and its wrong to upload the new games id makes.
Never upload the new games.
I don't know if id sells the add on missions for Spear pf destiny and you can't buy keen 6.
DOOM Collector's Edition doesn't have the master levels for doom 2.
Maximum doom is 201 wads for DOOM and 1,629 wads for DOOM 2 they were taken from the internet and put on a cd.
I have it on cd 4 mac but I still can't get anything from it...

but also, having the games on this site isnt a breech of copyright, its only a breach if you download them and dont own an original copy of the game, and it would be you who was breaching not the website. |

Why should those games be removed anyway I am glad that they are here and I could download them for free and not have to buy the game myself which would be a waste of time. I feel that the games that were mentioned such as Doom2, duke nukem atomic edition, Spear of destiny, heretic and hexen should just stay because it is hard just to find free downloads of those games without having to pay anything. Besides company that made those games would not even bother to look here to see if those games are violating any copyright restrictions because they would be more concerned with their future projects that they are releasing so if you think that those games should taken off then just don't bother playing them because otherwise you would be wasting other peoples time. |

it's illegal in the us, i've got the maximum doom wads from a master levels cd i bought. it;s for mac though

I don't live in the US, either... Yet I strongly disagree to impcnrd's suggestion. Only a few sites like dosgamer can you find doom 2 etc. available for download.
P.S. I mentioned before that "4D Sports Driving" is the same game "Stunts", with a new name. (off topic)

Okay, what versions of Doom 2 are out there and what would be the differences between them such as v1.0 something like that because I too have the game and I forgot what version mine is. |

The german version has the nazis taken out.
Also the final doom in the mac emulator I uploaded has tnt level 31 fixed.
Its not fixed in the dos version.
