                                This software is dedicated to
                                      Frasier and Niles

 Installation
 ============

   This is what I wrote in the first version of this ReadMe:

       "I think You will be able to find out Yourself..."

   ;-)

  Ok, Ok... I received a lot of mails in which I was
  asked to describe the installation in a detailed form.

  Here the detailed form...  :-}

  You can use these icons in two ways:

  A.) EXAMPLE HOW TO USE FLATTO'S WIN95 DRAWER
      ICONS AS SHORTCUT ICONS

  1. Open "My Computer" and open drive (C:).

  2. Right click and drag one folder of the (C:) window
      to Your desktop.

  3. A menu appears. Choose 'Make Shortcut'.

  4. Then, when the shortcut is present on Your desktop,
      right click it and choose 'Properties'.

  5. Then click on the second tab (I suppose that in the
      english language version of win95 it is called 'Shortcut').

  6. Click on the button called 'Other Symbol' or 'Other Icon'
      (Again I don't know how it's called in Your win95 version).

  7. In the field for the filename type in the path and the
      filename of Your icon or icon library.

       a) For example: c:\icons\w95drwrs\ico\42.ico
                                      (!!! DON'T HIT RETURN !!!)

       b) For example: c:\icons\w95drwrs\w95drwrs.icl
                                      (!!! DON'T HIT RETURN !!!)

  8. !! Press the TAB key on Your keyboard, not the RETURN key !!

      In case of a) the '42.ico' icon will be shown in the box
      below the field for the filename. Click OK and from now on
      Your drawer shortcut will use the '42.ico' icon.

      In case of b) the contents of the 'w95drwrs.icl' file,
      the 50 icons, will be shown in the box below the field
      for the filename. Choose one of them, highlight it and
      click OK. From now on Your drawer shortcut will use the
      desired icon.

  B.) USE ONE OF FLATTO'S WIN95 DRAWER ICONS AS YOUR
      DEFAULT DRAWER ICON

  Requirements
  ------------

   * Windows 95 or newer

   * Microsoft TweakUI (freeware) or Microangelo (shareware)

     - You can download these programs from http://www.cnet.com
       (Use their search form to locate the files).

  Installation
  ------------

  To install as default drawer icon do the following:

  1. Make a directory named 'folders' in Your windows directory.
      You can do this on the command line by typing in

            md c:\windows\folders

      (Replace 'windows' with the name of Your windows directory)

  2. Copy the '*.ico' files to this directory.

  3. Copy the file 'Flatto-XX_folder.reg' to this directory.

  4. Copy the file 'Restore_Original_Folder.reg' to this dir.

  5. Go into the Folders directory and edit the file
      'Flatto-XX_folder.reg' (You can use notepad to do this)
      and replace the string 'XX.ico' with the name of the icon
      You would like to have as Your default folder icon,
      e.g. '42.ico'. Then save the edited file.

  6. Go into the Folders directory and double click on
      'Flatto-XX_Folder.reg'.

  7. Rebuild the icon cache (use Microsoft TweakUI
      or Microangelo Engineer)

       Now you have the desired folder as default.

  Uninstallation:
  ---------------

  1. Go into the Folders directory and double click on
      'Restore_Original_Folder.reg'

  2. Rebuild the icon cache (use Microsoft TweakUI
      or Microangelo Engineer)

 Enough of "...ware"

 It is forbidden...
 ==================

   1. ...for government and military institutions to use these
        icons. You can get Your stuff somewhere else. Or do it
        Yourself! Commercial institutions have to ask me before
        using them, because permission depends on what You "do"
        (Don't ask if Your business is nuclear energy or anything
        similar f***ing like that)

   2. ...to gain profit from this archive (except if You are
        a Ferengi, of course)

   3. ...to change the archive, if You want to spread it

 History
 =======

   1.0  - Initial release

   1.1 - Added install section to readme files
        - Added '*.reg' files for easy install

   1.2 - Updated Documentation files (added disclaimer and pics etc.)
        - With the help of a friend (Thanks Fred!) the format of the
          ReadMe file 'w95drwrs.rtf' was changed to
          MS Word format. Now it's called 'w95drwrs.doc'
          (By the way, in my opinion, MS Winword is much too
          expensive, much too...)
        - Made 'file_id.diz' a little "nicer" ;-)
        - Added 'version.xx' file

   1.3 - Added four new icons
        - Updated Documentation files
        - Updated HTML file (now I have my own domain)

Oh God, how I would like to [...] (play of course) with Colonel Kira...  ;-}
